Prerequisites
- Be a minimum of 12 years old
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification)
- Good general health (have a look at this medical form to see if you are fit to dive)
- Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within the last 24 months (you can do this with us)

What Your Day Looks Like

E-Learning

Day 1 - Classroom and Practical Session
In the classroom, you’ll build a solid understanding of key emergency care principles, while the practical training allows you to apply those skills in real-life scenarios. This balanced approach ensures you gain both the knowledge and the confidence to respond effectively in an emergency.
Duration: 4+ hours

Day 2 - Pool Session and Ocean Dive
We kick off the day with a pool session in the morning, where you’ll get acquainted with advanced rescue techniques and review essential skills necessary for the PADI Rescue Diver course.
Your instructor will guide you in a safe, controlled environment, ensuring your comfort and confidence as you practice these crucial skills.
In the afternoon, we transition to the open water, where you can apply your knowledge.
You’ll work on scenarios that simulate real-life rescue situations, all while exploring the beautiful surroundings. Your instructor will be right there to support you, helping you gain the confidence and ability needed to handle challenging situations underwater.

Day 3 – Second and Third Ocean Dive
On this day, you'll embark on two ocean dives, allowing you to explore the incredible underwater world further. You'll apply what you've learned while experiencing the marine life and vibrant ecosystems in the beautiful waters around Gili Air. Your instructor will be with you for support and guidance during these dives, ensuring a safe and enjoyable adventure.
Upon completing all necessary skills and returning to the centre, you will be a certified PADI Rescue Diver, ready to take the next step of PADI Divemaster or PADI Master Scuba Diver.
