Shark Point

Average depth: 15/30M

Level: All certification levels

One of the most famous spots in the Gili's. This dive site caters to both Open Water divers and more advanced. The Glen Nusa Wreck sits at 30m and there is a high chance of spotting Reef sharks at this site. Currents can sometimes be strong, making it a great site for those looking to test their drift diving skills. Halik

Average depth: 15/30M

A favourite for many. Halik is a beautiful dive site known for its stunning coral formations and fans. A vast array of marine life such as turtles, lionfish, moray eels, groupers, clownfish, octpus and cuttlefish to name a few can be found here. A great shallow or deep site, perfect for all. 

Turtle Heaven

Average depth: 12/20M

As the name suggests, Turtle Heaven is famous for its large population of sea turtles. This dive site features a vibrant reef system with plenty of corals, small reef fish, and larger marine life. Divers can often spot green and hawksbill turtles as they feed on the abundant sea grass and coral. The site is relatively shallow and offers calm conditions, making it ideal for beginners and underwater photographers.

Hans Reef

Average depth: 12M

A calm and more shallow dive site known for its pristine coral gardens and abundant marine life. Especially great site when you’re interested in macro marine life. Cruising around the rocks you are likely to find scorpionfish, lionfish, different nudibranchs, pipefish, moray eels and maybe the odd frogfish. In the sandy patches, there are loads of garden eels, stingrays, flying gurnards and flounders.

Bounty Wreck

Average depth: 12M

Level: All certification levels

The wreck is not a true shipwreck but a collapsed pier structure and has become a favourite among divers. The pier sank sometime around 2003 and has been overtaken by hard and soft corals in the time since. All sorts of fish find shelter around the structure including stone and scorpionfish, a resident school of drummers, damselfish and sometimes you might even spot a frogfish.

Gili Air Wall

Average depth: 18M

Level: All certification levels

This is one of the few coral walls around the Gilis. Coral growth starts in the shallows, sloping down to about 8m with heads of brain and star corals and some Acropora formations. During the second part of the dive, you will find the wall drops steeply down to about 28m. Several species of reef fish can be found including six-banded angelfish, lionfish, a variety of triggerfish, sweetlips and damselfish. Towards the end in the shallows, it is likely to bump into a feeding hawksbill turtle.

Secret Reef

Average depth: 15M

Level: All certification levels

This site is located between Gili Meno and Gili Air. An ideal drift dive site. The reef begins at 12 metres and there is an abundance of bright and colourful table corals which form a stunning slope from 12 to 35 metres. Due to the vast amount of corals present, there is plenty of marine life including stingrays, triggerfish, clownfish, angelfish and pipefish.

Sunset Reef

Average depth: 15M

Level: All certification levels

Located on the southern end of Gili Trawangan, this is a gently sloping down reef. In the shallows, rocky terrain and giant table corals (Acropora) give shelter to the marine life. The midsection is covered in healthy staghorn corals with isolated hard coral outcrops. This is where you find schools of two-dot snapper, sweetlips, damselfish and different variations of anthias. At around 18m the coral end and the sandy area emerges. This is where you are most likely to find whitetip reef sharks that are resting on the sand.

Turbo

Average depth: 18M

Level: All certification levels

This is a huge dive site and one of the pearls of the Gilis. You can drop at either Shallow Turbo or Deep Turbo so the site is perfect for all certification levels.Here there are a series of hills and valleys where the shallowest part is about 16m dropping down to about 32m. Huge sea fans and other interesting coral formations will fascinate you from start to finish. Sometimes you can spot a leopard shark along with white tip and black tip reef sharks. Deep Turbo is a great site on nitrox.

Meno Wall

Average depth: 18M

Level: All certification levels

This reef slopes steeply with a near-vertical top starting at 5m and dropping to 22m on a sandy bottom. Soft corals cover the wall, while stony corals like cabbage, brain, and star surround it, along with many anemones. Groupers, sweetlips, snappers, angelfish, butterflyfish, clownfish, and parrotfish gather at the base, with hawksbill turtles often spotted between wall sections. Moray eels and lionfish hide in crevices, and at night the site comes alive with crabs, lobsters, shrimps, and—if lucky—a vibrant Spanish dancer.

Meno Slope

Gili Meno Slope is a gentle dive site located off Gili Meno, suitable for both beginner and experienced divers. The slope is adorned with colorful soft and hard corals, sea fans, and hosts a plethora of marine species such as butterflyfish, parrotfish, and occasional turtle sightings. The mild currents and excellent visibility make it ideal for relaxed cruising and underwater photography.

Seahorse Bay

Seahorse Bay is a unique macro diving site located on the mainland of Lombok. Known for its abundance of small marine life, the sandy bottom is dotted with seagrass beds and coral rubble, providing a habitat for creatures like seahorses, frogfish, pipefish, and various nudibranchs. The site is perfect for macro photography due to its excellent visibility and calm waters, making it a favorite spot for underwater photographers and critter hunters alike. Seahorse Bay offers a rare opportunity to observe a variety of unusual and elusive marine life in a clear and serene environment. 

Simon's Reef

The Nusa Glen Wreck sits at 30m and there is a high chance of spotting Reef sharks at this site. Currents can sometimes be strong, making it a great site for those looking to test their drift diving skills.

Mandarin Reef

Average depth: 12M

Level: All certification levels

We dive here very rarely and only on night dives mainly to see the beautiful Mandarin Fish!
