E-Learning

Start your underwater adventure before you step on the island and skip the classroom with PADI eLearning.

The eLearning lets you study the theory at your own pace—online or offline, anytime, anywhere. You will learn key diving concepts and terminology on your computer or mobile device, whenever it fits your schedule. Got questions? We are only a message away.

Classroom session

The PADI EANx course's classroom session is essential for teaching divers how to safely use enriched air (Nitrox). It lasts about one hour and covers key topics.

In this session, students learn how breathing Nitrox differs from breathing regular air. They discuss oxygen toxicity and the benefits of Nitrox, like longer bottom times and lower risks of decompression sickness.

Students also learn how to use dive tables and computers for Nitrox diving. The session highlights how to analyze Nitrox mixtures and plan dives to stay safe. By the end of the classroom session, participants should feel more confident about their Nitrox dives and be able to work out the best gas blend for their planned dives.

2 Dives

Depending on your certification level (we recommend being an Advanced Open Water Diver (equivalent) or above), you’ll dive into the waters around the Gili Islands and enjoy more time at depth exploring the reefs, wrecks, and marine life with Nitrox. During the dives, you'll learn how to:

Set and use your dive computer for Nitrox: You'll program your computer with the correct oxygen percentage and monitor your no-decompression limits throughout the dive.

Track and stay within your oxygen exposure limits: You'll keep an eye on your PPO2 (partial pressure of oxygen) and follow best practices for staying within safe dive limits.

Dive with awareness of extended bottom time: Experience firsthand how Nitrox allows for longer dives—especially at moderate depths—while still staying well within safe no-decompression limits.

Log and verify your Nitrox dive profile: After the dive, you'll log the oxygen percentage used, your maximum depth, and exposure time, just like you would on any Nitrox dive.
