Prerequisites
- Be a minimum of 10 years old
- Comfortable in water (Reasonable swimming ability)
- Good general health (have a look at this medical form to see if you are fit to dive)

What You Learn
- Basic Scuba Skills: Master essential underwater skills in confined water and on open water dives.
- Dive Equipment: Learn how to set up and use scuba diving equipment, including BCD, regulator and tank.
- Underwater Communication: Understand how to communicate underwater effectively.

What The Course Looks Like

E-Learning

Day 1 - Pool Session and Ocean Dive
We begin with a pool session in the morning, where you’ll get familiar with your scuba gear and practice essential underwater skills in a safe, controlled environment with your instructor.
In the afternoon, it’s time for your first open water dive in the stunning waters around Gili Air. You’ll explore up to a depth of 12 meters (40 feet) and apply the skills you’ve learned and get comfortable in the water, always with your instructor by your side.

Day 2 – More Pool Skills + Second Ocean Dive
The morning starts with another pool session, where you’ll build on your skills and become even more comfortable underwater.
After the pool session, you’ll head out for your second open water dive. Depending on your progress, we may return to the pool afterwards to fine-tune a few skills and make sure you feel confident and relaxed.
Duration: 4+ hours

Day 3 – Final Two Dives
On your final day, you’ll complete two dives in the open water, going a bit deeper (up to 18 meters/60 feet) and experiencing more of the incredible marine life the Gilis have to offer. These dives are focused on applying everything you’ve learned and enjoying the underwater world.
After dive four, you’ll officially be a certified PADI Open Water Diver—ready to explore dive sites around the world!
