Prerequisites
- Be a minimum of 15 years old
- Be at minimum a PADI Adventure Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification)
- Good general health (have a look at this medical form to see if you are fit to dive)

2 Dives
During the PADI Drift Diver course, each dive builds your skills and confidence as you experience the excitement of diving with the ocean’s currents. Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll learn how to plan drift dives, coordinate with your buddy, and use surface signaling devices effectively. You’ll practice techniques for maintaining position, controlling your buoyancy in moving water, and navigating with the flow. You’ll also gain experience in deploying and using a surface marker buoy (SMB) while drifting. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to relax and go with the flow while enjoying some of the ocean’s most effortless and exhilarating dives.
